Our center is also unique in the treatment of acute and chronic diseases of the saphenous veins. Thus, in case of acute thrombosis of the deep veins, we perform catheter thrombolysis, which allows to completely get rid of this dangerous condition within 24-48 hours. In case of post-thrombotic disease, which is often accompanied by disability, we perform balloon dilatation of the saphenous veins and, if necessary, also stenting. They are performed without incisions and under the influence of local anesthesia, patients return to everyday life after an hour.

Vascular surgeon, Ph.D., YSU lecturer Aram Khachatryan performs the surgeries. The laser coagulation method was introduced in the "Normed" medical center under the leadership of Peter Dragich, a leading specialist of the German "Biolitech" organization. Dr. Aram Khachatryan received further training in Germany.

The first operations on jugular veins were performed under the leadership of Igor Sonkin, a world-renowned leading Russian specialist in this field. Dr. Aram Khachatryan completed further training in Saint Petersburg.
